Spring Update
As we head into May I thought it might be a good idea to update the site and let everyone know what we’ve been up to. Brian is usually the one that does this but I will try to do the best I can. Brian has been really busy with work but doing well. He…

Merry Christmas Eve!
We made the trip up to New York yesterday for the holidays. Let me tell you, leaving at 4:30 am is not fun, but we avoided most of the traffic…that is until we reached the George Washington bridge. Now we’re hanging out with Monica’s family waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.

December Trek
We made our annual trek up to D.C. this past weekend to see the sights and visit some old friends. We even go to visit our old church. Here are some photos from the weekend.

Catch Up
The astronauts did in fact make it back safely, thank God. I’ve been off for a few days so I’ve let some things slip, including posting on here and calling people back. Things get back to normal starting tomorrow though (and work too, unfortunately). With my few days off, Monica and I did some travelling…

We spent yesterday with friends in Charlottesville (Hi, Samples!), and ended up staying the night with some friends in Richmond (Hi, Steve and Tanya!). Congrats to Jeff and Jen on their new baby boy, Jeffery Connor.…

The Burg
Went spent the past weekend in good ol’ Blacksburg. I even had a chance to take a couple of shots for the moblog. Had a great dinner at Mike’s Grill on Friday and lunch at Sharkey’s and dinner at Bogen’s on Saturday which is a record restaurant turn-out for us. I always try to hit…

But I Don’t Want To Be A Pirate!
This past Saturday, we took a day trip up to our old stomping grounds, Washington DC. We have gone down to see the National Christmas Tree for the last seven years, and we didn’t want to break that streak. While we were up there, we also checked out our favorite museum at the Smithsonian, the…

Driving No Mas
For the first time in fourteen years, I do NOT have to drive anywhere out of town for Thanksgiving. Hallelujah! It wasn’t so bad driving back and forth from school, as I was doing the driving while most everyone else was working. The last few years, however….well, it always seemed as if the entire East…
