I’m beginning to appreciate the joys of yard-work. Since moving into our new house, I’ve mowed the grass several times, and today I was finally able to weed-eat and edge. See, I tried to do that the day before, but my extension cord wasn’t long enough, and my weed-eater line was all used up.
So after another trek to Home Depot, I was able to resume my chores, and now the yard looks much nicer. The driveway and sidewalk could be edged better as the previous owners NEVER edged, but that will have to wait until I acquire an actual edger machine.
I can see how people really get into and enjoy yard-work; you get a real sense of satisfaction after you’re finished. We have big plans for the yard. Here’s hoping we actually make them a reality.

Well i am glad you are adjusting to the yard work deal. It’s something I’ve always seen that chore as comparable to milking the cows before breakfast. Something necessary but not something one looks forward to doing on a regular basis.
