Pretty much immediately after I got married, my wedding ring morphed from beautiful yellow and brushed white gold into a dented piece of gold colored metal. I guess I’m just really tough on rings. I’m not sure how it happened, whether I subconsciously tap it constantly or what, but I suspect the majority of the damage happened on our honeymoon (perhaps while riding ATVs).
I stopped by the jewelry store today to see if it could be fixed, and they told me that they could ship it back to the factory where the ring could be refinished. So that’s what’s being done. I’ll be wedding ring-less for two to four weeks, but in the end I’ll have a brand new (looking) wedding ring.
Until then, I’m a single man again!
(Just don’t tell me wife. ;))
