It’s the sport of kings, better than diamond rings…

As Monica eluded to in a previous post, it’s football season.

Yes, the Hokies and the NFL will take up a large part of my time now, and Monica is great for putting up with it (she does secretly enjoy it sometimes).

Speaking of the Hokies, they rolled over UCF this past weekend. The offense looked spectacular, but the defense looked a little soft. If we don’t stiffen up, Miami and Pitt are going to eat us alive.

And speaking of the NFL, all of my fantasy teams (three of them) are set now, and I’m fairly happy with them at this point. I’m pretty solid at most positions in each league, but things have a way of changing pretty quickly, you know? Injuries and guys underperforming (see my teams from last year) usually plague my teams. The best I’ve ever done is second place.

Here’s hoping the fantasy gods are smiling on me this season.
