School
Two weeks and a day! That’s what I have left of school. I am currently trying to survive my internship (preceptorship) and it’s going well. I’m a little tired but that was to be expected. Working 12 hours shifts is tough but I’m learning a lot and love the job. Taking on a full load [...]

I guess it’s about time to wish everyone a happy new year so…Happy New Year!
I haven’t updated much lately because I was off the entire week after Christmas, and we spent much of the time relaxing and taking day trips. I received a ton of great gifts, and as always, everyone was extremely generous [...]
My mom turns 60 today. My uncle hired a company to put a big sign and a bunch of crows and candles in the yard. Take a look.
So far, I’m the only one he hasn’t gotten yet (Bill and Monica were hit this year and last year).
Happy Birthday, Mom!
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:13-14
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5

We celebrated my Mom’s 59th birthday tonight with a nice, homemade dinner (chicken parmesan), and a disaster of a cake. You see, I was trying out a new recipe, but I tweaked it some, and the tweaking didn’t go over too well. It was supposed to be a chocolate marshmallow cake.
The result looked more like [...]

A day late, but I just wanted to wish someone a happy birthday.
Tonight, we made dinner for my Dad and Marlene. Good food, good conversation, and a good time was had by all.
Happy Birthday, Dad!
A happy birthday shoutout goes out to my Mom who turns fifty-eight years young today.
Thanks for all you’ve done for me, and all you’re going to do for me, Mom. You’re the bestest Mom ever, and I love you very much.
