what exactly is a brimon?

Back in 2002 when we first had the idea of starting a website and registering our own domain, we racked our brains for a name that would be unique but memorable. We toyed around with our names or a funny saying or a witty phrase, but either the domain name was already taken or it just didn’t flow off the tongue. We then had a flash of brilliance by just taking the first three letters of each of our names and squashing them together – ‘bri’ for Brian and ‘mon’ for Monica. Unfortunately, brimon.com was already registered (some guy in Australia), but brimon.net was available. Thus, ‘brimon’ was born.
