I thought President Bush did a great job with his speech tonight. He spelled out the case for why we are fighting, and you could tell it was genuine and heartfelt, even down-right emotional. Of course, he’s not going to convince anyone on the looney left, but that’s not really what he was trying to do anyway. I really think he was just trying to make sure Americans aren’t being swayed by the avalanche of negative press, not only from this country, but worldwide. You can tell he meant what he said, and his message hasn’t changed since September 11, 2001.
