A day late, but I just wanted to wish someone a happy birthday.
Tonight, we made dinner for my Dad and Marlene. Good food, good conversation, and a good time was had by all.
Happy Birthday, Dad!

So on Friday night, we went to a minor league hockey game. Hockey? What’s that you say? Yes, the hockey has ceased to exist for the most part this season, and it’s not that I’m a huge fan or anything, but I do enjoy going to the games. This game was for our hometown Admirals. They won 3-0, but the highlight of the evening were the two wicked fights we saw. Yes, I said wicked. The two Admirals players really cleaned the clocks of those filthy Binghamton Senators, and the local fans seemed to enjoy showing them their pleasure by holding up their thumb and index finder in an “L” shape. Who’s the real loser there?
And then of course the real sporting event of the weekend was the Super Bowl. I wasn’t really rooting for either team, but for some reason, I don’t want Philly teams to do well. I think it’s the fans. They are just downright awful, and don’t deserve to be happy. The game itself was pretty good, but the outcome is what I expected. The commercials were a bit lacking this year, but overall the game was enjoyable. Big ups to Greg’s mom for the best football food ever!
This is a day late, but I hope everyone had a good Groundhog Day and watched the movie like you were supposed to do.
Is it snowing in space?
Monica and I have stumbled onto something new (to us anyway). It’s called geocaching.
If you liked scavenger hunts when you were a kid (and who didn’t?), then you’d like geocaching. All you need is a GPS unit, such as this one, and some free time and you’re all set.
We’ve been out a couple of times now, and we’ve really enjoyed it. Who knew the internet would actually get us to go outside more?
