I stayed up way too late last night watching the returns come in, and went to bed a happy man. Turns out I agree with the majority of America. It was a good day all around, for every branch of government, and all without recounts and lawsuits…so far.
I have to give to Kerry though for at least doing what’s best for the country and conceding today. Neither side wanted this election to drag out over a couple of months again.
No gloating here. Just pure joy. 
At least my voting experience wasn’t as bad as others yesterday. I didn’t have to wait in line for hours, but the A-K line was pretty long in my district. Fortunately, there was no one in the L-Z line.
