I put up our outside Christmas lights today: some along the roof line and some in the bushes.
I know some people don’t like any sort of Christmas decorations while it’s still November, and I used to agree with them. In fact, I don’t remember putting up decorations until the first or second week of December when I was a kid.
But the way I figure it now (especially since I’m the one putting up the decorations), if I’m going to do all the work and it’s going to look nice, why not have them up for as long as possible?
That doesn’t mean it’s okay to leave them up year round though. 
Once the new year is here, take those suckers down!
