Wow, what a game!
Every once in awhile, you get to watch a really good Super Bowl. This one started out really slowly, as there was no scoring at in the first quarter and most of the second one. There was a flurry of points with about five minutes left in the second quarter, and then the second half was insane!
I was pulling for the Panthers, and I really thought they were going to pull it out. Oh well.
The most disappointing part of the whole event were the lack of good commercials. I guess we’ve been spoiled from the last few years as it seemed the ad execs were working overtime, but this year they all must have taken a vacation. The best ones were the Budweiser ones. They had nothing to do with beer, but really made you laugh. I think my favorite one was the ref getting reamed by the coach/wife. Every married man laughed their butt off at that one (while getting glared at by the wife).
